Individual therapy is a valuable practice and exploration in self-discovery. It is a process aimed toward engaging you to challenge yourself to live more fully and to shed patterns that no longer serve you. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating the complexities of relationships as well as those suffering from stress, anxiety, and depression. These struggles can often manifest in many ways and may lead to other life challenges, such as anger, or addiction.

Essentially, my goal is to support you in getting to know yourself better. This includes your thinking patterns, but also the ways you shape yourself bodily. You are continually growing into new versions of yourself, my intention is to support you to take an active and participatory role in how and in what direction you grow. Psychotherapy is a space to practice both new behaviors and to shift narratives and beliefs that keep you stuck in old patterns. My approach is somatic, relational, and engaging.

Psychotherapy is an opportunity for you to share what is going on in your life, and for me to engage you to explore your feelings, assess what is working well, and make changes to what is no longer in your best interest. I have experience working with a wide range of concerns. It is not uncommon to know something isn't right, but be unsure of how to make it better. Therapy is a practice in engaging yourself so that you can be the active participant in shaping your life, to be in the 'driver's seat' so to speak, rather than being overly affected by external factors. My role is to support you in this process, to challenge you to step into the great potential that you already and undoubtably have within.

Couples & Relationship Counseling

Relationships take effort, and sometimes this effort can be difficult. Couples Counseling can be particularly beneficial both during challenges and also before challenges arise. Relationship Counseling can support you to lay foundations for deeper intimacy between you and your loved one. It can help you learn how to communicate more effectively by practicing listening to your partner and expressing your own needs. Lets face it, most couples argue. This is a sign of passion. Relationship counseling can support you to harness this passion and learn how to disagree in a healthier fashion; to be more collaborative in your decision making processes. It is also a space to grow more passion when it is lacking. As well as explore new and exciting aspects of your sensual connection with one another and revitalize your sexual intimacy.

I love working with couples, it is often a space full of aliveness with personal and collaborative investment. While advice can sometimes be helpful, my focus with couples is really to support you to grow your own wisdom. There is no set template for a good relationship, and this is really what makes relationships so sacred. Your relationship is your art in the world. I look forward to holding a space and offering tools to support you and your partner in growing the masterpiece you envision to shape together.

Clinical Consultation & Supervision

Consultation for licensed professionals and supervision for pre-licensed individuals is an important and necessary component of mental health services as a means of identifying blindspots, discussing standards of care, and processing personal feelings that can arise in clinical relationships as well as professional settings. I am available for consultation and supervision to mental health and health care practitioners as a means of supporting professional development and personal self-care. Please contact me to discuss consultation, supervision, and mentorship arrangements.
